Each placed outbound call uses one unit, whether it is answered, goes unanswered or reaches voicemail. Leaving a voicemail uses the same unit. Each retry uses another unit. Double-call uses two units when both calls are placed. Each AI-answered inbound call uses one unit. Human-forwarded inbound calls do not use units.
